Serendipity brought me to Natalie's plush chair. For years, I have had limp,
straight hair that every stylist cut the same way. No layers, angle from the chin
down. When I came to Blondis, before anyone even washed my hair, Natalie and
I discussed my lifestyle, how long I take to do my hair in the mornings, how I
style it. Afterward, she took 45 minutes (on a Saturday evening!) to show me
different ways that I can style it and how to blowdry it. In addition to having
the best hair cut I had ever had, I was asked out by multiple guys that night.
The second time I went to Natalie to get my hair cut, I gave her full reign to do
whatever she wanted. Now this is the best hair cut I have EVER had!
The way she cut it accentuates my faces best features. I like it so much and
still get so many compliments, that 3 weeks later, I feel compelled to write
this review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NATALIE- after one session in her chair, I have
no doubt that you will have the steadfast allegiance to her that I do.

I have been in the country for five years now and the first person to have ever cut my hair was Natalie, since then I have never let anybody else touch my hair. I own these thick,heavy curls that no hair stylist would want to work with. Not Natalie though, she took one look at my hair, and said, " do you trust me?" , I already did. She began snipping here and there by the time she was done I could not recognize myself, my hair had so much life in them, the curls were bouncy and defined and bordered my face perfectly, better that I could have imagined, I was so impressed!! This girl had vision and I knew you could only get that from passion for your job and experience. I have been back several times for trims and she even convinced me that I would look amazing in honey blonde dye and of course she was right!! Since then I have been following her all around NYC and will always be a grateful customer. Her warm personality and firecracker laughter is very addictive and what sets her apart from other stylist is that she genuinely cares about my hair, throughout the sessions she would give me tips and advice on how to maintain the quality of my hair instead of chatting about mindless gossip, I really get her undivided attention and have no problem spending money on her service because she is worth every cent and more!! I recommend her to anyone who wants to look fabolous!!

If you want a look that is elegant, in great taste and you wish for beautiful hair color and cut, then Natalie. E is the expert to see.
She is a great colorist, and an amazing hair stylist,she is warm and welcoming and she greets all of her clients with good cheer.
Natalie is a gem, immensely talented in the art of hair color, and she also brings tremendous work ethic and incredibly high standards to her craft. She works on your color from start to finish, and you are not in danger of going unattended.
If you want consistently beautiful hair color, and an amazing modern cut, well then make an appointment with Natalie. You will not be disappointed!
In terms of the salon, it is a beautiful, immaculately clean space, and everyone is friendly, including Joseph himself.

Like most women, I am very picky when it comes to who touches my hair. I have big curly hair that requires a stylist who knows how to truly cut it. Through the years, I've learned that not all stylists can deal with hair like mine-and most actually don't know how to.
Enter Natalie. Time after time, she continues to impress me with her styling technique and puts me right at ease with her knowledge and experience. She embraces my curls and has made me love my hair again. I owe all the compliments I get to her.

Natalie is the greatest hair colorist EVER!!!! She is a perfectionist and she really knows what she is doing. I asked her to color my hair for the summer. I have very dark brown/black hair. She made my hair look like the sun streaked my hair "naturally." I am not kidding. She said she was going to do it that way too, but I really didn't think she would be able to make it REALLY look like the sun lightened my hair from being on the beach every weekend in the sun (make believe of course!). I have watched people get their hair done at other salons. I would see streaked hair, highlights, lowlights, blond hair get blonder, touch-ups, and they are only "fair" compared to Min. She is really an artist. If she can make my hair look naturally lightened by the sun in beautiful caramel hues and dark golds she can do anything with your hair.

The only stylist I've tried is Natalie, and I'm now a loyal client. I looked for years to find a stylist who could cut men's hair, especially a guy who has some major cowlicks going on. She always makes my hair look great.

Olga gave me the best haircut! I asked for a bob, and she spent nearly two hours giving me the haircut. At first, I wondered why she was spending so much time. It was only afterward that I realized that she is trying lots of different parts and styles to ensure it would look good no matter what style of the day I chose. She was right! Highly recommend her!

Jie was fabulous for both cut and color. She looked at my hair and me for a bit and then we chatted about what I thought I was looking for. She came up with an amazing color scheme and the perfect cut to go with it. She was focused, creative and lovely. My hair is incredible.
Also, the salon was great. Comfortable and laid back and very diverse. Very friendly and ready to do anything that made my visit nicer. I will be going back.

I'm giving the salon five stars because Olga was great. She gave me a nice bob hair cut and blow dry. I kind of told her what I wanted and then she gave me her opinion, and her opinion was right on. She definitely took her time cutting my hair, but I guess that is because she wanted to get it right. She is great and when you make an appointment for her, allot a good amount of time.
I was slightly suspicious that the desk staff was trying to get more money out of me when I presented my Living Social discount, but I do not have anything to substantiate this claim. The salon in general is very simple but nice.

Let me start by saying that I never write reviews but I think Laura deserves a great one. I had only highlighted my hair once before and it was good but Laura made my highlights look gorgeous. She did exactly what I asked for (not too blonde but she enhanced my own natural highlights). She also made my highlights very thin as I had requested and really took her time. The haircut I got was also amazing. I have found my new stylist!

I meant to write this a month and a half ago, but I figure, better late than never!
I saw a special on lifebooker and it led me to Cherry. I called and made an appointment for the same day, full foil, trim and blow dry. After trying many NYC salons since I moved here almost 3 years ago (and trust me, I'm talking about at least 4 or 5), Blondi's was very welcoming and understated, which you don't tend to find in Manhattan. Everyone in the salon was friendly and spoke English.
Cherry is a fabulous colorist and stylist. I had explained to her my issues with previous stylists, i.e. the apparent color bleed from my last highlights. She not only listened and understood me, but explained everything very clearly. She worked hard to fix my previous stylists errors, and blend the color. After the highlights, she gave me a deep conditioning treatment, a trim, and a great bouncy blow out. I have naturally curly hair and it's tough to find a stylist who can manage my hair well and quickly.
I'm returning to Cherry today and couldn't feel more comfortable and excited!
